ZF Services UK showcases the latest transmissions developments at Plantworx 2023

ZF Services UK demonstrates new torque converter
     * Visitors were also able to see the new 8EP range of large ERGOPOWER
(LII) transmissions
     * The company's focus on innovation shines through at the show

ZF Services UK has brought the latest industry innovations to Plantworx, with visitors having the chance to experience its new torque converter
up, close and personal on the stand.

Taking place on 13th - 15th June at East of England Arena & Events Centre, Peterborough ZF also unveiled its latest addition to the
Ergopower range, including the popular 8EP (LII) transmission, as used in articulated dump trucks.

With its forward-thinking approach, ZF UK has been developing and producing parts for the construction equipment sector for decades,
celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2023.

The efficient torque converter that was on display has been specially developed for construction machinery, with engine torques of 500 to
2,600 Nm and hydrodynamic diameters from 280 to 440mm.

They can be individually adapted to any given application and feature a compact and weight-optimised design in sheet-metal technology. The
geometry of the oil circuit ensures maximum flexibility in the fields of vehicle peripheries.

What's more, the ZF Direct Drive (converter lock-up clutch) ensures fuel savings and a high level of economic viability.

The latest developments to the 8EP range were also available, with its UK Centre of Competence now service ready to provide repair and
remanufactured units, as well as highlight the benefits of its range of torque converters.

For decades, ZF's UK Centre of Competence has had the capability to service the ERGOPOWER range of power-shift transmissions widely used in
construction, material handling and airport ground support (ASG) equipment, known as ERGOPOWER S, M and L ranging from 2 speed to 6
speed, up to a 320 KW engine match.

This new development means that the state-of-the-art ZF facility can now fully service the entire ERGOPOWER range, including the 8 speed
ERGOPOWER LII.

Mark Bowen, off-highway business manager at ZF Services UK, said: "Plantworx offers the perfect hub to showcase our latest innovations and
it was great to meet with so many existing and potential customers at the show and offer our support.

"Visitors to the stand were able to learn more about the company's commitment to constant innovation, as we work to ensure machinery can
meet the demands of the extreme conditions to which they are subjected."
