Weaving updates its Agrimaster hedge cutter with an electronic control unit

Weaving machinery has been the official UK stockist of the Italian manufactured Agrimaster brand since 2000, and it has just announced an updated version of its hedge cutter range that is in stock and available for farmers now. The key development is the addition of an electronic control unit, bringing it in line with competitors like McConnel.

 “Customers have always asked us for electronic controls,” says Simon Weaving, sales director at Weaving Machinery. “To add this functionality, we have imported the standard Agrimaster hedge cutters, then fitted our own hydraulic control valve and electronic controller.

 The electronic unit has been developed in-house by the Weaving product design team.

 “It provides much smoother control of the machine, and it is much easier to take on and off in the cab. You also don’t have big hydraulic cables running into the cab.”

 The entry-level 1.25m working width machine is priced at £13,800, with successive models working up to the AGR-650T telescopic model, which costs £24,800. These prices remain the same as before the update, with Simon committed to offering the upgraded electronic control system at no additional cost for the rest of this year.

 “Considering the build quality, Agrimaster hedge cutters represent exceptional value for money,” he adds.
