Only 543 tractors registered in November

Month :                                543 Units             -16.5% change (compared with November 2020)

Year to Date:                      11,134 Units       +15.9% change (compared with January-November 2020)

There are signs that the bottlenecks in global supply chains are increasingly affecting the farm equipment sector in the latest figures for registrations of agricultural tractors.

In November, only 543 machines were registered, 16% fewer than in the same month last year and 14% below the average for the time of year.

This is only the second time in the last 12 months that registrations have fallen below the level of a year before and comes despite all reports suggesting demand remains very strong.

Even with the recent slowdown, registrations for the year to date are still 16% up on the equivalent period of 2020 and, indeed, they are already 7% higher than the total for the whole of last year.
