Milk price increase from Meadow Foods

Meadow Foods has announced that it will be increasing its milk price by +0.5ppl from 1st March 2020, taking their standard A litre milk price to 26ppl.  The change will apply to the flat rate element on the price schedule.

Mark Chantler, Chief Executive of Meadow Foods, comments: “We are aware of continued pressures on farmers and are pleased to be able to pass on this second price rise of the year.  The market remains challenging, however we will continue to carefully monitor how both supply and demand develop over the next couple of months.”

“We have a number of meeting scheduled in early March to meet face to face with our producers where we will share our views on the current market position and the future outlook, while also listening to their perspectives.”
