Farming Minister Stephen Morgan said:
“The New Forest & Hampshire County Show is a brilliant showcase of everything British farming contributes to this country – producing the food we eat, caring for our countryside, and supporting thriving rural communities.
“This government is backing English farmers with a record £11.8 billion for sustainable and profitable farming, a new EU deal that protects the sector and helps keep food bills down, and a Farming Roadmap giving them the long-term certainty to invest with confidence.
“So, to every farmer who attended, and right across the country, thank you. British farming has a profitable, productive, and sustainable future, and this government is committed to it.”
