Annual Sheep & Goat Inventory deadline looming

Defra are reminding farmers that they should complete their holding registers with the number of sheep and goats that are on their land on 1st December and to complete an inventory of the sheep and goats kept and return it by 31st December. In Scotland,however,forms must be submitted by 15th December.

Defra’s Farm Surveys Team are urging farmers to contact them if you haven’t had a letter or email by 7th December 2017 which contain advice on what to do for your inventory.This year it can be completed online, or by post.

The online sheep and goats annual inventory to send records electronically is available from December 1st. In Scotland it is available here survey.scoteid.com
