It works on compatible Apple, Google and Samsung smartphones, and it's included free with O2 Business Ultimate plans — or just £2.50/month (+VAT) for Plus customers, with no long-term commitment (30 day rolling contract).

This isn't unproven tech — it's already been tested under real pressure. During Derbyshire's recent major wildfire, O2 equipped 100 satellite-enabled phones for Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service, allowing crews battling the blaze in a total coverage blackspot to stay in constant contact and share vital updates in real time.
